Just thought I'd check in and say Hi to the "old gang."  Getting back into some projects after a three week stay on Sint Maarten over the holidays.  Installed engineered hardwood in the last upstairs bedroom (the wife's craft room) and replaced the old mini-blinds with Levelor verticals.  Now making her some replacements for the plastic drawer sets she has.  The drawers are fine, but the "boxes" for them are getting shaky.  So, I've got a bunch of red oak plywood parts rough cut today and will start taking them to final dimensions.  With the hardwood flooring, I had to replace the wheels I put on the two large wood cabinets I built for her back in 2010 to store her stuff.  If you're looking for good furniture wheels, Service Casters is worth a look.  I'll post some photos when the new items are done.

 

Working shifts at the FD kinda cuts into my free time, too.
