NO telling what these will look like. No borders on either like I usually build them so we will see..I am running low on firewood so either way no complete loss..  but the fire wood should be up there with the cost of those five pounds packages up by the exit doors for 20 or 30 bucks by the time I figure my usual 35 cents an hour rate.!!

IMG_8521.JPGIMG_8524.JPGThe horse is unusual for all the pictures I have see has the horse sticking his head through the shoe but these stained glass people only get close some times.

$0.35 hr x 2080 hr/yr = $728/ yr...boy Patch, that translates into big money every year...would put me in a too high tax bracket even before time and a half for overtime:rolleyes:

Plus it would ruin my amateur status rating...^_^

BTW...I'll be following the progress of these projects...

Dave the fun part starts at this stage. I'm not real sure what an angel looks like but I'll work on my interpretation and maybe I can get some images from those that know. Same goes with the horsey. Since I screwed up the last horse I fiddled with , I'm kinda leary of this one trying to kick some since, sense in to my little brain before I start on him.

I'd send you a picture of my wife but, she's not a typical angel.;)

Seriously, those patterns look great, to me. With your talent, I'm sure they will turn out fabulous.

Mines not either Gene. Does yours carry a whip ?

I can see where this is gonna be long and drawn out. Cause trying to remember what that last angel in my dreams looked like is kinda hazy!!

I would suggest going back to sleep to remember her. But, ya can't get any work done that way.

Please keep the progress pictures coming. Vicarious participation is better than no help at all, right?

Is this legal?

Can't speak to the legality, Dave. But, I do like to watch.:D

Dave I thought I read the other day where they made every thing illegal ? They decided this would be easier to remember later on.

When you see an angel is everything white, or?  Wood tones? I wouldn't think so!!

This is the color I picked up first. It will be toned down somewhat. The wings have a white glaze. Takes longer to dry.IMG_8552.JPG

This board is where I cut her out and it works good to keep up with the pieces. I lost part of her lip.

Patch, while you say you don't know what an Angel looks like, I'd say you captured the essence of that image in a remarkable fashion...FANTASTIC!

BTW...I seem to recall a phrase..."loose lips sink ships..." so you may want to stay off the water for a while... just sayin';)

Dave did you notice how I run to the grain of the wood? Since she is leaning over about that many degrees I thought I would do the same with the wood. But I don't think when she stands up right  the wood will follow, but with her being an angel? who knows?

Jesse, that's a true masterpiece in the making. She looks angelic, to me. No matter how her grain runs.

Eagerly awaiting your next pics

Fixin to go add the heavenly addition to her. You guys did notice I added some boobs to make her a more modern version. But nothing like what some looked like on pinterest. These very young might like the wilder looking angels, no telling. I'll be happy to make people want to look at her every time they pass by her no matter how many times a day that might be.
