I found this link on Matthias Wandel's G+ page. It seemed to relate to a recent thread here about which table saw miter gauge would be best. Of course any discussion of miter gauges usually, at some point, includes their accuracy for cutting angles.

Watching this video made me wonder just how accurate do we need to be. These were all done on a chop saw-

Just thinking out loud.

i made a paper set of those long, long ago.  all had equal side dimensions.

On a somewhat larger scale.

It stands 28" tall.

Read about the construction here.

"I have no idea what this might be used for and as with the others it will be left for a future owner to decide."

if i build something, i have a use in mind before i start.  it's a nice art project, shows mastery of something, but it still lacks a use.

Oh, it has it's use, alright. He kept his Scotch in it. And, knowing Paul, he sold it for a pretty penny. And cash is always useful.

That looks great, Herb

That's pretty nifty, Herb.

Way too many angles for me to comprehend.  Cool to watch though.

I kept flinching with each cut.  Surprised he isn't missing a finger or two.  Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Chop saws are not my favorite tool.

Herb

I made a Christmas tree ornament out of a block of wood with a series of precision cuts on my table saw. I was checking out my new saw and made a series of cuts. When I was done, I liked it so much that I made an ornament out of it
