December 31, 20169 yr I'm a thinking if I don't think it over just a little my overs might turn in to unders. After looking it over it might have been faster to make a frame and wind some rope, shoot it with lacquer and say done.. Edited December 31, 20169 yr by Smallpatch
December 31, 20169 yr Classic! Do you mean that's the first celtic knot you've done? Nice job either way. Steve
December 31, 20169 yr Author First one Steve! No telling what it will look like when finished. I'm going for the round rope looking style. Not recommended, using the thinnest blades for less gaps between pieces. One inch thick BB was too much for the thin little blades. They are more for thin jewelry making. .012 with 48 teeth per inch. I still have to use thin strips of wood around the outside for the gap anyway. Edited December 31, 20169 yr by Smallpatch
December 31, 20169 yr This looks like it could be fun and therapeutic, if I only have the patience. I am always intregued by art like this and how people are able to do it. My daughter is an artist and it is mesmerizing to watch her draw. Good work.
December 31, 20169 yr looks like that shape, with some feet, would make a really nice trivet... Great looking...thanks for sharing,
January 1, 20179 yr Can you imagine trying to make one of these without a predefined pattern????? Me thinks I would get completely lost after just a few over/unders Great project
