Not sure what the other threads were, but one thing is to drain the tank. I got that hint from one of the techs at Campbell Hausfield here in town. (So is Senco). I remember one of the managers at a customer's warehouse.used to dust off all their upholstered furniture as part of pre-delivery prep. I asked him once how often he drain its tank. "Drain the tank???" was his response. I took it over to the garbage can and emptied at least a gallon of rusty water out of the 2 gal tank. January 6, 20179 yr comment_91375 Drain the water from it. regularly. Change the oil in it regularly. I've had a crapsman 5 HP compressor since Oh Gee 1985 and it's still running strong. I keep telling myself I want a quincy but the one I have won't die. Report
