Old English letter help

HELP!!! HOPING SOMEBODY HAS THE SAVVY TO DO THIS!!!

I need old English letters and numbers in 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, and 5 inches high that I can just print on my puter for transfer to a few projects.

As computer savvy as I am I can't seem to get my puter ( or my busy son in law) to help so any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you need the patterns for scrolling or routing a sign? There are several ways to do it based upon the end use.

As Stick, said, first you have to download the font. If you are using a program like MS Word or Open Office they can be added to the library if you don't already have them. Then you can make them any size you wish to print out a pattern. Also, take a look at the WORDART section if you have office.

Tell me the end use and what program(s) you have available and I or someone else can probably walk you through it.

Two fonts sources-

How to add the fonts to Microsoft word (if your word processor is not MS Word, let me know)

If you are using an Apple product, we'll need to get some different information

72 points = 1 inch.

so if you want something 3" high, you would input 3x72=216 point font.

If you are running windows you already have them on your computer. I use them all the time. You will need a printer attached. You can make numbers and letters any size.If you got microsoft 10

Find Windows accessories, click on it then find Word Pad and that be where  they are. Or any older microsoft programs should have fonts already.

Rochester font would do just fine. I'm taking the letters and transferring them to boxes and such with carbon paper for routing and burning.

Routing is easy...just use a low tack spray adhesive (think scrolling) or use blue tape and then apply the pattern, route out the character and remove the waste and adhesive residue with Mineral Spirits. Burning is better used with the carbon paper, or, there is a process that eliminates the carbon paper IF you have a laser printer.

I think that you appear to have the font situation in hand.
