December 8, 20169 yr No this isn't about an athlete. Every year I make a little something for the WW group at this time of year. This year I made each member a bow sander. I started out with some maple and then went to an old cruddy poplar plank I wanted to use up. The first picture shows what was left. The sanding belts were from WoodWorkers Supply, Kingspor. Here is it all in picture mode to put you to sleep. Herb

December 8, 20169 yr Author They work well on curved surfaces, they conform to the curve. Not for hogging off material, just for taking out the tool and scratch marks from files and rasps. Each one went out with 3 grits, 100g,120g, and 220g. I am not a turner, but the tuners were happy to get thm, so they must be able to use them when turning. Herb

December 9, 20169 yr Herb...really nice! You've done some really great Christmas projects, over the years, for your fellow club members. If you receive in like kind from them, then I bet you have some really nice things. I always look forward to seeing your Christmas projects.
