Wife was gracious enough to donate the glass and her time to cut it. I made 7 set ups like this but this year only two clocks.IMG_8283.JPG

The two newest great grand kids took center stage for now...

I just noticed, how do you hide the back of a tall buffet backed up to a couch?????????

Oh , thats okay for this is the side that visitors sees when sitting in the living room!

Great grand babies are the most important!  Nice clocks!

Sometimes it's easier to make a bunch than just a couple.

Slowed down, my butt! you still are cranking a lot of really nice stuff out!

Thats terrific, great job, your like me a production guy. When I make things I make a bunch. Good  job,

Herb

Herb I do like to make more of the same but I can never use the same settings or measurements for the next clock in this last bunch of five was always a little bigger than the last.

I think I just now realized the reason why I have been slowing down. Its really hard to get to the shop on days like this. Some body has to stand guard...IMG_8285.JPG

Curious: what woods did you use for the cookies?

Pete these are honey dues things to keep me fat. Consisting of Rollo( chocolate and caramel) mini pretzels and a half of a pecan. Stack the Rollo and pecan on top of the mini pretzel and put in the oven and wait till the the things bond together.  I guess a person could replace the pretzel with some choice exotic woods, maybe might taste as good as a pretzel but hey, she is the cook.  I have tried to eat the good stuff off the pretzel but no luck...Not being a fan of strong flavored chocolate these Rollo's have a great flavor.

Jess, I like those clocks a lot but I am drooling over those cookies.  I can see why you have to stand guard.

Looks like Pecan wood to me. and it sure looks good.

Jess I'm like that too ,maybe they aren't the same, but when I get on a roll I like to make a bunch. Good way  to try out new ideas you get as you go along.

Swap the caramel for white glue.... fewer calories! :D

If you've slowed down, you seem to be able to manage your time very well. Nice looking clocks !
