Both WOOD and ShopNotes have tool chest plans

Determine what type of tools he's be using.   I was listening to 360 woodworking's "chat" yesterday and Glen Huey noted that he'd wished he'd made most of this drawers shallower as with some tools, the did not need the whole height and ended up adding an internal sliding box.

Might take a look at these...one lucky grandson...Also, take a look at the Harbor Freight model as a template...I bought one some time ago on-sale with a coupon for $59

As you've noticed, a great site with even greater people. I'm sure you'll enjoy participating and being just one of the gang here.

Full scale 3D too......easier to use than Sketch-up...someday I might even clone it
