November 25, 20169 yr Popular Post I found this site and have enjoyed the content. As for my self I enjoy wood working, stock making and pattern making. These hobbies work into my casting and forging hobbies and the machining I do. My passion is building guns from scratch and making every part in them including the stocks. I am looking forward to learning from and adding to this site.

November 26, 20169 yr Wow! Building guns, great stuff Charles! What do you like to build? I have been wanting to build black powder rifles for a long time. Welcome to our community and thank you for joining us!
November 27, 20169 yr Author The weapons I build are reproductions of rare and unusual firearms. Currently I am trying to finish up the last ditch German semi auto rifle , the VG1-5. The other projects on the table are the Gerat o5 and o6 which are gas operated roller locked rifles. The o5 was only a concept rifle and there was only 4 o6 rifles ever made. I am also working on the AR-16 rifle. This is a sheet metal stamped 308 rifle design by Mr. Stoner and currently owner by Reed Knight. Only two were ever made and I wanted one in my collection. Just spent yesterday and last Sunday doing the stocks for the VG1-5

December 7, 20169 yr Howdy MG-42 , just a dumb Texan here. How dumb? Well I got drafted twice!!!!!!!!! I been to your area once. We had stopped in Phoenix in about 1994 to go to a pin ball expo, yep bought a pin ball game and that night going through the want adds saw a slot machine for sale real close to Cave Creek. Bought the slot machine from a fine gent and his wife was sick, had cancer but before we got to Texas we detoured all the way to Knoxville, Tenn. to attend a go-cart expo...From Phoenix to Flagstaff then all the way down 1-40 was solid sleet so we stopped in Amarillo and bought a tarp for the goodies in the back of the pickup and got there in 3 days driving time. Slicker than snot. And my question for you, did you sell me that slot machine??? If so, thanks for it still works great...And so sorry about your wife. Boy a person can sure meet some fine folks driving up and down the highways of this country. And welcome to this great woodworking and other things site and glad who ever invented it, thanks. Smallpatch
December 12, 20169 yr Author Hello Smallpatch. Sorry to say that it was not me. I have lived in Cave Creek since 1990 and with the grace of God my wife is still with me after a bout of cancer. However, if you are back in the area drop on by and say hi. There is always a place in the guest house for friends.
