November 12, 20169 yr Popular Post About 10/15 years ago, I decided to make a flag for Veterans day for my garage. I didn't want just a flat flag. I used two by fours for each stripe, cut contours on my bandsaw then sanded each to blend in as a flowing flag. I added a pole and the light above came on at dusk. I don't know why the one stripe looks dark, it wasn't. Sadly I had to leave it in Ohio, the people that bought the house wanted it left there.
November 12, 20169 yr That really is creative, well done! I can see why the new owners wanted it left behind.
November 12, 20169 yr Ron that is very nice. Lots of work but you did our flag justice but making it so awesome.
November 12, 20169 yr Love this . I am guessing that the stars are painted on. Did you color the stripes before glueup?
November 13, 20169 yr Ron , I salute you sir on this project! I'm humbled and completely in awe just looking at it. You did "Old Glory" very proud. Thanks for sharing.
