While we are on the subject of "Rustic",

 

Many years ago a friend of my wife brought over 3 short pieces of slab firewood and wanted me to make something for her new big log house she and he husband just moved into.

I thought for awhile and came up with a rustic box. later when I gave it to her she made it into a recipe box for the kitchen, and called it her flintstone box.

That is how I met the Wood Mizer sawmill guy,she referred him to me,so I could get somemore slab wood the build more of them. I built a gave away over a dozen of them.
