October 31, 20169 yr Good Monday Morning Patriot Woodworker's! And what a grand Monday it is! With Fall in full effect, the leaves are beginning to turn, and we are on our way to the Holidays soon enough! As we ask you each Monday morning, what is on your plate for the week ahead? What did you accomplish over the weekend? Inquiring minds want to know! I was able to get a little more work down this weekend on the headrest of a Claro Walnut Rocker I am building. Soon this chair will be finished and ready to go to a new home. For a look at my headrest fabrication please see at Head Rest Fabrication. I tried to get started on a Krenov style hand plane build this weekend but it just did not happen, other things happened! New Community Features The double posting issues have been worked out, in the past contributors would hit the post button, and sometimes double posts would show up, that is no longer an issue. Bug fixed! We now have a "Cancel" button at the editor, so if you change your mind and do not want to submit that post, just click on "Cancel" and you're set to go. The navigation is much easier to use now, the tabs at the top are now out front and center, allowing you to see the various navigation tabs instead of them being buried under other tabs. If you change your password you will now be presented with an email verification to ensure you were actually the one who changed your password. Before no verification went out. We keep adding to our community, and we hope you enjoy our new upgrades and features. Thanks for all your help to everyone, for your contributions, your creative projects, your participation here, and all your wonderful personalities! Have a wonderful week ahead! October 31, 20169 yr thanks John for all the continuous improvements to the site...just amazed of on-going enhancements compared to any other site I've previously participated. Chauffeur duty off/on Saturday but did get 6+ hours in mowing and mulching; can't tell any mulching occurred after yesterday and today; leaves have surrendered to winter. Also a couple hours sharpening done on Saturday. Yesterday mostly family stuff. Week ahead...continue plane & now chisel refurbs; some tilling in the garden,; need to get winter mulch cover down on blackberries and other outside projects while still have nice weather
October 31, 20169 yr Today was a travel day. Just got home from a long weekend with families in Tucson. Took us 5 hours due to a couple road construction stops. After unloading Phyl's Costco purchases and having lunch, I'm beat. Time for a nap. Tomorrow is another unknown.
