Got a packet of corner brackets.   Needed to make a few pilot holes for the #1 screws..

All kinds of toys in the background. Screws are TINY..

And, since the electric screwdriver doesn't have a charged up battery, I had to use this old Stanley...

Made a "chain" out of hook & eyes..

Hmmm, maybe a better look?

Hooks have been trimmed down, and rebent a bit.   Used the old pair of pliers from my days of  tying rebar for a living.   Top hook swings down, into the same eyelet as the next hook below it.  The others just have their own eyelet to use.  Have sanded to first coat back a bit, and need a new brush.    The more "redder"  Witch's Brew will be a top coat.   Knee is sore from mowing the yard yesterday,  so I think I will just sit a spell today.

Now that's one cool set of latches!

I hear watching NASCAR is good for the knees.

That will keep it all in order for sure.

Very nice!

You obviously do not have enough brass on this piece. Also need some wheels to move it. Have you weighted it yet? Just pokin, very creative solution.
