October 29, 20169 yr Its good to use a decently flat board then also use a smidgen of yellow glue on one corner so after through spraying you can remove the small pieces. This one was not flat to start with and I have used it way too may times for this purpose. It might also be good to count the number of pieces in case some go flying off the board and have a good clean area around the spraying area. Me, I spray as much as I can out side and usually the grass needs mowing creating more down time looking. If you look close you can see small pieces of wood still stuck to the board from times past. A smidgen is a small smidgen. Those stuck pieces don't help on the next go around..Oh no you sure don't want to run the board through a drum sander to make the board nice and flat for next time....That would be down time replacing sand paper.... I might have been a good woodworking teacher but one has to do as he preaches I would think. Like maybe suggesting putting all the colors together then at least mark down the number of pieces of each color.
