I'd still not be able to find one when I really needed it!

Those were Christmas presents for the wood workers club members last year.

Nice Herb.  Where do you get your brass items?

Well I really liked the mallets & push "sticks" until I saw the marking gauges...WOW...Any open, remote memberships to your club available?

Dan, I got the thumb screws from Rocklers, and the brass strips off eBay .Made the marking knives from an old hacksaw blade, got the plan from a magazine.

It is fun to do this and fun to give them.

If you don't mind me asking....   did you just thread those into the wood or use inserts?

They all look really nice...  I like that sliding tail piece.
