I thought I would try Baltic Birch and see what the layers of wood do to the picture. It was a little ruff trying to follow these lines.

 

Time I got this picture up to the size the lines do their own thing.

 

In the process of cutting the pieces I misplaced three pieces and with my collection of a few days worth of wood laying around it might be a night mare finding them..

  Always leave yourself a box to reassemble and glue the pieces back together after finishing.

 

Hope you find the pieces. That's going to be a neat picture. 

a big 10 4 on the box for parts.  I use a combination of plastic shoe boxes and zip lock bags for my parts.  Has saved me a bundle of time and agrivation.  Looking forward to the finished project.  (Don't tell us which pieces were missing.  )
