October 24, 20169 yr Boy, I really like this chair and it would go well in the room where I have two Morris chairs, but since we already have one rocking chair that we don't have a place for, I don't think I could talk my wife into this one. https://paulsellers.com/2016/10/rocking-chair-series/ If you ever think about designing your own rocking chair here are some good guidelines: http://www.rockingchairuniversity.com/rocker-radius.html Edited October 24, 20169 yr by kmealy
October 24, 20169 yr Boy, that sure looks like this one that was published in Wood. I built 2 for our daughters, one cherry and one QSWO. They were a fairly easy build, and very nice looking in an A&C setting.
October 24, 20169 yr Rocking chair university! That's my teacher Kmealy. Hal Taylor is a great craftsman with his chairs, and a great mentor to have on your rocking chair journey.

The differences are small, the slats in the back are wider on yours and the front rail and rung are a little different width, but the construction looks the same. Herb
