I make a box to assemble all the pieces in and leave it in one piece.

Then as I take off the pattern I number the sides of the pieces as I will put them back together when gluing them in the box.

I make two pictures of the puzzle cause its is easy to forget where some pieces go.

I number the pieces o top then as I tear off the paper I put that number on the sides for later use.

I won't be able to take out all the gaps as I did on the lion picture because the pieces don't go all the way to the edge  on all sides.  The second picture is at the top and I do have to refer to it often...

None of this picture was colored when I printed it from google so not being a horsey guy it is already hard to tell parts of the horse from the saddle and the cowboy and at the same time I had to remove the stained glass lines from the picture before I started cutting the wood. This was a picture for stained glass artist, not wooders.

I'm also gonna put the three feed stores names on the barrel our town has. Maybe I can three of these horsey riders sold to them!!

This is what I got done today.IMG_8126.JPG

I mounted a board on the back then started ruffing the edges for the first go around. Maybe tomorrow I can get them smoothed up and stained. I broked his face while trying to install a nose and eyes with the grinder. I think I have just now invented the first queer horsey.......Wonder if heshe will look better with lipstick and a pair of glasses. I only have the eyes about six inches too high so I got to do something to get people to look at something else.
