Parke County?

Actually the one we hit Saturday Ron was in Fountain County (Veedersburg)...another location a few miles South is Steam Corner; I usually try to hit those 2 a couple times during the festival. Not sure if I'll make Mansfield or Bridgeton this year; depending on the weather I may try to hit a few of the "open air" type flea markets & yard/garage sales along SR-36 W from US 231 S over to Bellmore @ SR 59...smaller crowds & SOMETIMES more reasonable prices.

We have these Indiana covered bridge events in our Calendar, and at the lower right column of our home page. I think they are the same. But related to veterans events mixed in with the covered bridge events.

They are John & thank-you for the publicity. I wasn't totally sure when I entered the info if the calendar was utilized for non-veteran events. The CBF does draw large crowds from all-over the Midwest usually topping 1.2M in attendance for the 10 day run; not bad for a little rural Indiana county whose total population is slightly over 17,000.

Spent the weekend getting the yard and house ready for winter, started the snowblower and put the lawnmower away. Now it's onto tool sharpening for winter projects. When you're retired it's hard to know when the weekend starts and stops. I have to watch when my neighbors go to work.

Thanks John. I did even though I was clueless to protocol or process. Seemed like a good thing to do. If I overstepped boundaries you can put me in the time-out chair... Just not one with faces in the seat!

Me, our admins, and our forum hosts, all get paid the same here, it's a whopping six figure income! $000,000. As a matter of fact, this is a profit sharing community, you get paid the same as we do Ron

Well, I never thought I'd write this ever for someone to see but I'm way over compensated already for being a member here! Thanks John, John, Ron & team for all you guys do to make this the place to be!

Mansfield gets flat crazy Dave.  Seems like every time we try to make it there, the weather turns cold.

Yeah Mansfield can get nutso' especially on the weekends when all the tour buses roll in from all over...usually 3 conditions for CFB...hotter than all get out, rain and windy or cold and windy...all in the same week sometimes like this week; 880 yesterday...tomorrow starts the rain and Friday high maybe 550; Hate it for the vendors, but a bad weather week usually makes for some great deals by the last Saturday.
