this was another shop set up to do a house rehab (yesteryear job) cleaning up poor work...

those 4100's are sweet...

the OSB cab is full of cased tools...

left it behind when I finished...

there's a Rolair compressor, flexeel and a CM10 not showing not to mention a very nice array of Bosch power tools in the cab... air tools, cordless,... and and...

I use to do this several times a year...

That old Sears radial arm saw goes back a few years.    I have one just like it. Doesn't get used much any more.   Roly

It's  the saw I RUN from the most....

Rule number one. 

Never put you hands of front of the running blade.

If you follow this rule I don't ever see a problem.

I have three of the saws and I have used them hard 

for many years.

Now this saw I made has a different story. 

Sometimes I want to run from it. But it does the job...

 

 

 

 

After losing two fingers in 1985 I found there was no perfect way to keep from getting hurt. We are human and human things happen  I have learned to stay away from equipment that doesn't perform well and has been found faulty in there tasks they were designed for...

 

Pesonally I find it interesting you prefer to be a gladiator and fight hand to hand, but I'll just site back were it is safe and shoot a bow and arrow...

I was indoctrinated into woodworking on the RAS. At the age of 9 or 10 with Dad. Cross cut, rip, dadoes, miters, still love them today. Very comfy with the RAS.

When I walked into a commercial shop in 1983 we has industrial equipment and used a table saw for everything. This is what I'm the most confortable with using.. We had the Delta RAS but it was used for cross cutting only.. I those days there was no Internet and the RAS  was very common with multi tasking in the shop...

I have friends that has gotten hurt shooting bow and arrows....

I have felt the sting of a high powered bow.
