MWTCA monthly contests

So, what are the tools we are 0 for 4 on? I have not seen where you ever post what the tool is

Chips, that is because nobody has submitted a legitimate answer. Nobody knows what the tools or implements are, our goal is to try to solve the mystery. For an answer to be valid, there must be some sort of pedigree or reference attached to the final answer. The MWTCA are sticklers with this sort of stuff, they are the wikipedians of hand tools and implements and in order for one of our answers to be accepted, they'll need some backup.

I am in the dark just like you all, and so is MWTCA, we are helping them solve the mystery.

That being said, the spirit of this contest is to raise awareness for MWTCA and their great work. And to increase their membership. Since nobody has been successful yet, we may just start holding random drawings for each month's participants to win a membership to MWTCA, mystery solved or not.

At the rate we are heading now, we'll never turn a new member for MWTCA.

I thought you or someone over at MWTCA knew the answers. That clears it up quite a bit then. Thanks!

I just had an idea for research, I have a reproduction Orgille Hardware catalog from early 1900's which I got from my FIL. I will try to find it and look for some of these tools.

Great idea gerald!

found them yet??

I believe some may have been single use tools and would be a good reason nobody knows.  There are a lot of people other than us trying and not knowing either.
