Just got notification of this yet to be available tool from Kreg. More information on Kreg's site but initial retail is $69.99.

Interesting... but not needed by me.

slice up a dowel on the band saw...

Sure way to match the wood you are using if necessary.

Great idea - I have been using the Kreg pocket hole system for years - guess what's going on my Christmas wish list this year.

Funny, I've never worried about plugging them, but if I did I would prefer that tool to the store bought ones available.

This would be good for making plugs from PT lumber to use on outdoor projects.

I like this idea! I hate when you buy a a new joinery system and you have to keep more supplies on hand to get the most out of it. I actually hate that about any new tool.  If you have to have all kinds of blades etc it gets to be a pain keeping track of everything then having all the needed stuff on hand when you build something. A couple good examples would be MILLER DOWELL and the BEAD LOC system. At least Bead Loc has router bits available to make their loose tenon  stock with.  Cant hardly find the Miller Dowell's in the stores any more.
