new clamp rack

Featured Replies

Some of you may remember on WOOD, I was looking for ideas for a clamp rack.  I ended up getting about 45 clamps of various sizes at a moving sale and needing something in the new shop.   In the interim, I dumpster-dive some 3' x 10' pallets and turned them into a prototype.   Worked out the details and got some 6' 1x4s. 10' 2x4s and put this together this weekend.  Found some nice 3" casters in my stash and put them on.  Need to find some plywood and put a shelf on the bottom for those odd clamps that don't hang well.

Nice rack!  The will keep your clamps close when you need them

Keith, great job!! I love it. I have clamps that need a home too, I seem to keep moving them around out of the way, and they are always in the way!

I can see you're loving the new real estate.  Great rack and at the right price too.

Sure fits the "can't have too many Clamps" statement.  Looks good and is giving me ideas.

Looks good ....trying to figure out a place in the shop to organise a clamp run over. Too many clamps and not enough floor or wall space. If we could only start over...

That's my next project. I think I'll make mine square on wheels...

I don't have as many clamps as you. I know I need room for expansion .
