Felder the company and an RL 160

Featured Replies

I got an RL 160 back in may.  Screwed up my back - -Just now getting to a PT for it  ( yah I'm still whining about it) - - so I was really slow doing the ducting.  Got nordfab and it's all installed  including the rubber flex hosing. Had an electrician over to install a new bigger Main panel with a generator lock out and run the circuit for the  RL.

The paperwork was outdated and wrong.  It specified a 20 amp circuit  MAX. Big bold lettering first page of the electrical pamphlet. The electrician read it shrugged and installed that circuit it called for.

And of course the RL blew the breaker every time It's a 19 amp motor that has to start up under full load.

I'm on the horn to Felder Tech.  They see the error, my sales guy sees the error  Every one at Felder sees that it's a problem except one guy who gives me about an hour of crud on the phone. I'll call him the company gaslighter because all he did was blow gas .

But after I'm done with him I go back to the Tech guy and tell him what I'm going to do.

I'm having the electrician back to  do it right. Then I expect Felder to pay me whatever I pay on  that invoice.

The tech guy tells me that Felder will do it.

Today I got a check from Felder.

As for the RL , it's great.

isn't good CS great...

I'm with Lew. But it's an interesting (and surprising) CS story. All's good in the end, tho. That's a whale of a DC, should serve you well.
