 I have read  the introductions of new guys from WOOD and I thought I'd say a bit about introducing myself. I am originally from Ohio and lived there for most of my life. WE moved to Colorado to be with our kids and grandkids. I worked at a huge coal fired power plant in Ohio as a technician and Supervisor. In 1999 the company offered an early retirement package, I took it at 56 years old and have NEVER regretted it. I had been there for 38 years.  I am a Viet Nam veteran and have had cancer from agent orange. I am cancer free now and loving my woodworking. I was participating in WOOD magazine forum and began to dislike the way things was handled. I searched for other, more friendly forums and found this site, except it wasn't named as it is today. I was amazed at the innovation and  updating that this site does. The do care how things are done.

 

 I have enjoyed the comments, compliments and participation of all of you guys. It is great to get good advise form true woodworkers.
