I saw some of these years ago and was on my long term list.   A couple of years ago, we bought a camper and needed some chairs.  Some recycled cedar and purchase from Re-Store made it possible.  A birthday gift for my wife, who then said, "Where are the footstools?"   So I had to design and build some of those to match.

I made some of the chairs for a buddy, who was a Bostich salesman. He said he had to tie them down to keep people from stealing them. Apparently the design is quite old- or so I've been told.

Those are VERY nice. I bet you don't set those out to "hold" a camp spot or something of that sort.
