I am Happy and Proud to Say

Good Evening All,

I am happy and proud to say that I along with a few other fellows have been making items for our local handicapped Veterans and when they no longer need them we pass them onto other fellows and ladies in need of these sort of items.

Now we are starting to find lodging for some who need special care on a part time basis.

It make one feel good when we can help. Things that are simple for us to do are sometimes very complicated for them and this is the reason we try to help.

Respectfully,

Ralph "Sawdustr"

Ralph,

That is outstanding. I am glad that you and your friends do that.

made this today for my local shooting range.  this is a prototype, final will have 4x4 legs and some diagonal bracing.  materials should run about $80 each.  can get two tables and two seats out of one sheet of plywood.

That's great that you do that Ralph. For a few years now I have been making flag cases for older veterans who pass away and the unfortunate young ladies and men who don't come home. Very rewarding.

DAB, There is a group that does these cases on a much larger scale than I do and this is where I got the dimensions and instructions from.

Go to diablowoodworkers.com and scroll down to the bottom and you will see Memorial flag case project, click on that and you should get all the info you need. Their website is very interesting. If you cant get to it I will send the dimensions.

You go Ralph!!!!

You're a good man Ralph.  Here at TPW, we have a pretty good track record of helping our vets.  One project that several of us got involved with was making and sending challenge coin displays to Walter Reed and other military hospitals. I'm not sure how many we donated but it was well over 100.  But you know, we can't do enough.

Way to go Ralph.

God bless you Ralph.

You are right at home here Ralph, great job my friend. ;)

That is awesome Ralph. Thanks for what you do to help others. Your a great man.

Thanks all for your comments and here at my shop I have a wheel chair ramp for anyone who wishes to come and occupy themselves by working with their hands as they sit the day away.

I also have rolling stools for those who can't stand very long, including myself.

Thank you Ralph & all others that do things for Vets.
