Sofa and end tables

Featured Replies

made these several years ago.  all out of red oak, very light danish oil finish.  made one long table to go behind the sofa, and two matching smaller ones to go on either end of the sofa.

thanks.

my wife enjoys what i make, and that's good enough for me.

someone asked me some time ago about the dining room sideboard i had made.  i told them that there was about $500 of materials alone in it, so if someone came to me wanting something just like it, we'd start talking at around $3,000......and i asked them, how many people do you think are out there who are willing to pay that much for that piece?  yeah.  people like good work, but they think it should be sold for below material cost.  fine, get your own tools and shop, have a nice day.

my labor is free for my wife....and that's about it.
