August 29, 20169 yr Ok, I'll attempt to insert a photo. Our Maltese likes sleeping in his crate in our bedroom. There is not room enough for his crate and a night stand. I built a crate that would double as a nightstand. The red oak was recycled from a local school that was built in 1942 and is being remodeled into commercial space. There are 46 mortise & tenon joints, my first attempt on my Delta drill press with the attachment. The guys from Wood may have already seen it as I posted it there awhile ago. So I figured out posting a photo just have to work on arranging text a little better. Thanks for looking and any help.
August 29, 20169 yr Great idea! But, that little fellow probably wouldn't take up too much room on the bed
August 29, 20169 yr Hey Joe, never seen a better space saver idea in my life! We are dog family and we love our dogs in-doors. Our little Lasa Ahpso would love a space like that. He sleeps on the cool floor of our tiled bathroom during the summer, but during winter, I know he'd creep in under a table just like this, thanks for giving me an idea, great job and by the way, great job on posting images on TPW as well!
August 30, 20169 yr Awesome idea. I love that look and a well done job. Thanks for sharing the photo and glad you figured out adding them.
August 30, 20169 yr I like how everyone involved loved the solution. Creative thinking and great woodworking!
