I don't see most things like most people do. When I look at wood burls I sometimes see things other don't. I picked up a piece in Keim lumber in OH and I immediately saw a snake. A  walnut snake. I loved it. and soon that walnut snake was hanging on my wall

The wood sometimes finds the artist Ron, this snake was keeping his eye for ya, he found you.

Really cool idea you had here, and a beautiful piece of Walnut to boot. So, what kind of snake is it?

I generally don't like snakes but I'll make an exception for this one. Really Cool!!

I envy the creative side of your talent.  Have you done any other work that started with that kind of "out of the box" inspiration?

Some people have the eye for that, myself, not so much. Great Job!!

On a scale of 1-10, snakes rattle my cage at a 1. Even wooden ones are fangtastic. 

And I was expecting something on this order.
