steven newman Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 Been using the heck out of mine, lately. There are those four from Aldis I got last year for Father's Day ( they sell them every year at that time) Then...there are the Mortise chisels Left to right of this around the world tour.... Japanese 12mm, NewHaven 1/4", Witherby 3/16" , Butcher 1/8", Buck Brothers 1/8" and a 1/4"( ?) from the "British Zone, Germany" Thinking the skinnier ones are more like Sash Chisels, but they still work.. Most are quite sharp, too. Now, about those Brass parts on the handles? When I am out and about on Rust Hunts, I tend to look for these kind of chisels. Buck Brothers and Butchers. One a bit pitted, it is saving the handle for any chisel that need it. Most I've paid for one of these mortise chisels? $11.50, for the Japanese chisel. Came all the way from Okinawa, Japan. lew 1 Quote
