August 23, 20169 yr Sorry I have been a bit absent from the site for a few days, but i have been working hard to get ready to get the shop expansion in the dry. It rained all day Saturday here so I didn't get to do any work on the shop, but Sunday the rain moved out and we are suppose to have about three days with no rain. So I am pushing to get the shop roof opened and the rafters attached to the shop expansion. So Sunday I got the shingles off the area that I needed to remove. Early this morning I had a couple of friends show up to help me get the decking cut and removed. So we got it opened and ready to set the rafters. Then it was time to get all the rafters marked and cut so we could just slide them in place and nail them down. It was a long day today getting to this point, but I am happy with the progress. If all goes well tomorrow, we will get all the decking down, paper on it and it will at least be in the dry. I can them put shingles down as soon as possible. So we are moving on and I will check in as often as I can, but for now I got to get this in the dry.

August 23, 20169 yr Glad that you were able to dance through the rain drops and get things done on your shop. I know that it has been a a real frustration for you with the uncooperative weather. You should have built your shop in my neck of the woods. Not one drop of rain at all here in Corona, CA. and you wold have had it done months ago and making more saw dust!
