August 22, 20169 yr So I can tak these small lid parts And set each on the mitresaw to trim the ends square. Mine is a "cordless" one, though But it is now located behind the router table and a few other items. It is on it's own bench, though... Back there, against the wall. That is an smaller saw, since traded in for other items, The Stanley 358 has taken it's place. Need to clear a path to it.
August 23, 20169 yr Author Ok, some better photos of the mess? Welcomen to my Dungeon Shop... Believe it or not....I can walk in there....You can almost see the rack for the chisels... That I attached to the outside of the toolwell. I even have a special work bench.. Someday, I may get organized,...then watch out! Anyway, decided since the parts needing sawn were a bit small, I could use a smaller mitre box Right? Move all that stuff around, just for three cuts? We have ways.. Called a GEM Mitre Box. The saw in this picture turned out to be too big, sooo The big saw was wiggling a bit, figure a smaller one would be better...still had a bit of wiggle going on, ah... The guides were spaced too far apart. Loosened one screw, tighten the guides down onto the saw's plate, and saw away. Didn't turn out too bad? Got all the cut made, I removed the screws hold the box in place, and got it ready to stash out of sight.. This can be stashed away in a tool box. Getting a bit long-winded here. Might post the rest of the morning's festivities on another thread.....( more of the Stanley #45..)
