Did not see anything on how to do these so this is a place ya'll will see it

 

The gallery has suggestions on posting photos and no direction on how to edit the photo to add names and tags after posting.

 

Are there limits on photo size or how many can be posted in 1 day.

 

These are just some limits I am accustomed to and could not find an answer.

Sorry for the quick hit and run reply here Gerald, I am on a smart phone accessing our site, there is no limit on photos to upload, and at this time there is no limit on size, just keep in mind larger files take longer to load for some PCs depending on internet provider or PC power. So a viewer not blessed with Verizon Fios may see some viewing lag time if you load up a 8mb sized image. But, you can load up whatever size you want at this time.

 

Editing images for descriptions and tags is a snap, first of all, you can do the descriptions and tags as you upload the images, or you can back track an edit each image if you like as well. The suggestions are only suggestions as far as how to upload images and the suggestions for titles and tags, we understand that can be a pain in the rear so it's a loose suggestion.

Gerald, I just signed in with our test member, and it appears you cannot back track and edit images, you can however edit your album settings. We are going to make it so members can edit images after they are uploaded. Sorry for the inconvenience.

OK Gerald, this is what we have. Once you upload your images into the gallery, and if you do not provide a desc or tags at the time of uploading, you may back track and edit your images within the period of 3 hours immediately after uploading the images. After 3 hours, the "Manage Image" button disappears.  I had a lapse in memory why this is, I had to back track and see our settings. We have a site wide 3 hour time limit for editing content, this includes all content that is submitted, including forum topics and replies. We have this time limit in place so unscrupulous folks who may get peeved at something, do not back track and delete all their content, thus leaving some nasty gaps site wide. That has never happened, we have never had a member angry at us, so we have not had to deal with it.

But I hope you can see the reason why we have the 180 minute time limit for editing.

 

As far as your bowl gallery goes, do you want me to back track and edit the images, with tags and descriptions?

If I am not mistaken Ron, back in the day when I was an active member, there was an upload image size limit, I think.

Gerald, I edited the ones where you had enough information in your description that I could glean a title and tags with. Can you supply us with some more information on the others so I can edit in the details?
