August 19, 20169 yr for the concrete finishers to get my slab finished. Actually the rain worked out well (apologies to those who still need rain), except for the damage done to the yard when the trucks pulled in. Anyway, here's the finished slab; now I'm trying to find when the construction crews will show up.
August 19, 20169 yr Looking good Fred, time to start framing some walls Fred, you don't need no construction crews for that! Come on!
August 19, 20169 yr Author Not at my age, it would take years. After the shell is up I'll do the rest (except drywall).
August 20, 20169 yr Author 12 hours ago, Chips N Dust said: Fred, what is your footprint? Size 10 unless the shoes run large.....oh, wait! you mean the building. It's 32x50 and will have 10' walls. this replaces 2 buildings we had at our last place, my shop and a pole barn with a concrete floor. Doing one large one should save some money and be a little more handy. The current plan is to have the first 30' be my shop and the other 20' will be the storage for most of what used to be in our pole barn.
August 20, 20169 yr That is a nice sized shop Fred. Here's a tip: John Moody is really experienced at shop building. When he finishes his have him help you.
August 20, 20169 yr Author Maybe I ought to try and have an old fashioned "barn raising", but doing it for a shop instead!
August 20, 20169 yr That is awesome to have that much space! I am looking forward to see the WIP photos
