As I continue to work on the shop I was able to get all the siding on with the exception of one small 13" strip.

Most of the pictures have been from this angle. I got the siding on the East side also.

I have still got to cut out the siding over the window on this side.

And I have all of the East wall up except a 13" strip where it will join the old shop. Eventually all of the old vinyl siding will be removed and this type siding will be installed.

So this is the next update. If you notice the first picture you will see the rafter. They are not cut to fit yet but I should get those install Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Until then....

I like that siding. Bet it goes up fast!

It went pretty fast. I had a friend come over and help me get it up. I needed extra hands to hold it, line it up get the nail gun and nail it.

I am going to spray paint it before I put in the doors and windows.

Yes John and Thanks.

I put up Hardi board for dad two car garage shop up in the mountains, that was in 2005, and one coat of paint. 11 years later, high heat, annual snow, high winds, it looks pretty close to the way it did when we first hung it and painted it. We did not use a primer, it has a primer already as you know. But the stuff truly is hardy.

Hey John, the deck to the right of the shop and behind, what is that all about? I do not recall seeing that deck in your past images, is it hanging over your garage?
