Hello all. My name is Rick & I'm new to this forum. I've hung around the wood site almost since it started but rarely posted. I am a Viet Nam era Naval veteran and Accountant by profession. Currently, I teach accounting @ a community college in Columbus, OH. Interests besides woodworking include motor sports of all types and 5 years of driving a road racing car.

 

My wood shop is almost complete and includes a nice collection of stand alone and hand held power tools. While completing the shop, I teaching (trying) myself about all of the machines. Hopefully, all of you will be as patient with me and as helpful as the fellows on the wood site.

Certainly, as my experience and skill grow, I will pay back to future newbes.

Like you I as a long time WOOD member, pretty much from the beginning I think. Anyway, I joined here and really like what I've found. Not as active as a 20 year old forum yet but there are already several other former wood fellows here and it's gonna get busy! LOL

I was on Wood Forums for many years and came over to TPW when it started up. I popped in now and then to Wood doing research and maybe ask question here and there, but TPW has been my home. Glad to have you.
