As a woodworking hobbyist, I've learned a lot from many great guys at the WOOD magazine site. Unfortunately, that site is shutting down after several Hic-Cups This site had been suggested as a friendly and helpful place for me and others like me to join in, for the kind of  advice and guidance in our woodworking  that we've gotten from many at WOOD forums. I thought I'd drop in and take a look. \

    Hi Al, I migrated from WOOD a few days ago. I won't lie, I'm going to miss that forum and several of the friends I'd made there. With that said, I have been made very welcome here by some of the "old timers" on this forum. It seems like a very nice place.

    Al, Steve and Kelly, there's lots of us here that migrated over from wood.  When John Morris started the site about 5 years ago, we came over as an alternative to wood.  There's a great bunch of folks here!  Not as big as Wood but we'll get there.  Thanks for coming on board!
