Looking for a new forum group

Featured Replies

This is the visit to this site after being recommended from the Wood Forums.  I don't always chime in on some of the discussions but I always read the different posts for the information they provide.  I'm kind of a mid level woodworker and am the owner of cabinet shop here in Northern Ca.  I retired from the Air Force in 1993 and am still wondering how a jet engine mechanic became a cabinet maker.  Anyway, looking forward to spending some time here at this site and hopefully learn something from all of you.

Welcome aboard.....You may find a lot of WOOD Forums refugees around this site..

Yea, I migrated from the WOOD forum as well, this seems a very friendly place and I think you'll like it. I do

As others will say, glad to have you here. There's a great bunch of folks here that are always willing to help out!

Welcome from one wrench turner to another.

Woodwrking is more fun, ain't it?

Randy, I am new here from WOOD as well. They do seem to be a right friendly bunch here.

Welcome aboard! :)

Randy, thanks for joining and I hope you enjoy the site. Many of us are old Wood forum users also,

Whether it is needed or not, yes.

If you play it right, you can get two weeks in the winter if the weather is right.

Randy, I am here from the Wood Forum as well.  I believe we will be happy here.  These folks are very open to us new guys.

No way.  I carry a gun, not drop it.     Besides, at least I bathe....."occasionally.  I do like French onion soup.  Does that count for anything?
