Rain and Rain and Rain has continued here almost everyday. But as it looks, next week we get a cold front and cooler temps and NO rain.

 

Between the rain I have been working as much as possible on the shop expansion so I can get it in the dry as soon as possible. Beth helped me on Saturday and we got the top caps one all the walls and finished the headers and framed out the two windows.

 

 

I had hoped we would get a bit more done,  but you guessed it, it started raining and had to stop.

So this morning before it got too hot and started raining I got the foam sheathing on the walls.

 

 

But it heated up quickly and it got to 92 by lunch so I took a break. I need to cut some of the foam boards and put them around the top and then tape off all the joints. Making progress and if we get NO rain next week, I hope to get the Rafters up so I can get it in the dry. Windows and doors are due in this week.

I am so ready to get this in the dry so I can start working inside. Also so I can clean up the rest of the shop that is holding stuff for the addition. Hard to work around all the stuff.
