August 13, 201610 yr comment_67798 I was shocked today when I went to log onto my old stomping ground at Wood Online. I had spent years there off and on seeking advice and offering opinions when warranted. I am sad to see them closing up shop. The Patriot Woodworker was mentioned as an alternative so here I am seeking a new home in this community. My name is Chris Mohney, I go by Kelso Chris as I live near the small town of Kelso MO. Kelso is my wife's home town and I have lived in the area for twenty years now. I am 47 years old and have worked in the restaurant business for 28 years. I am a corporate trainer with a Burger King franchise that operates in south east MO, Southern Illinois, western KY and North East AR. As Far as my wood working experience I do a lot of furniture work for family and friends. One of my favorite projects to build are hope chests. Since I started working wood 20 years ago I have probably built 40 hope chests. Most I have built for donations for the annual home and school auction that benefits our parish school. Others I have donated to various fundraisers and others have gone to my nieces and my daughter. I've also built chairs and other furniture for our house. My shop is pretty basic. Its an old chicken coupe that is 16' x 16' with 7' ceilings. I have a pretty good set up with a table saw, joiner, planer, band saw and router table. I have a ton of other smaller tools but I am currently seeking help for my router problem. They are my favorite power tool and I currently have 10. I have 1 in my router table, one in the TS extension wing, 1 combo kit dedicated to my dovetailing jig, 1 combo kit for free hand stuff, a trim router and so on. Report

I haven't done a lot of posting over there in several years but I would check in every now and then to see what was new. This is an awesome forum and lots of really nice, great guys on here. Hope you will make this you landing ground and join us in the forums. Report
