Due to the impending demise, I am looking for a new home and place to visit and contribute.

 

I'm in the Cincinnati suburbs (for another 12 hours) and moving home and shop about 20 miles northeast.

 

I've built furniture as a serious hobby for a bit over 30 years, and tinkered before that.  About 13 years ago, I quit my day job developing software products and opened a furniture repair business.   A couple of years ago, I "semi-retired" and let go of most of my customers (retail stores, delivery and moving companies, national service companies, a few businesses like hotels, and individual homeowners) and still do a little a few days a week.   I'm currently the Finishing and Refinishing host over at the WOOD forums and president of the Cincinnati Woodworking Club.

Welcome aboard.   We're actually neighbors if a sort since I'm a Hoosier.  We're smaller than Wood but many of us are refugees too.  Great to have you with us.
