Our Shop Companions

Featured Replies

Just playing around a little this morning, and I found our old video of our shop dogs, they are still with us today!

Do you have a shop family member you'd like to share here on The Patriot Woodworker?

Quigley doesn't like the shop. Too noisy for him.

I forgot Lew, is Quigley a cat?

That's one good looking cat!

Our two, Annie and Oakley, will wander in, sit until they get acknowledged and their ears scratched. Then they scamper off to more important tasks. Chasing rabbits, gophers and lizards is their chosen life pursuit. Plus they guard against those nefarious UPS delivery guys.

But wait, the UPS guys have cool things from your woodworking supplier!

That they do!

The dogs don't just bark at the big brown truck. They harass the propane delivery guys, guests, and blowing leaves as well.

Oakley has a specific bark when she alerts on a snake. She won't stop either, til I remove the creature, or otherwise dispose of it. So, we struggle to teach them to be selective barkers.
