Today - a super brave pilot, ( retired Lt. Col. Charles Kettles ) during the Viet Nahm War, was awarded the Medal of Honor.  The only reason this brave pilot received this award is because his wife overheard a conversation between this man and his veteran buddies 5 years ago.  His wife asked him if the story was true, the obvious answer was "yes".  Mrs. Kettles started the ball rolling with a talk with her congresswoman and the ceremony was this morning at the White House.

 

A wife did what the Army did not.  Honor a super brave American soldier.

The greatest men are the most humble. His statements prove that.

This was an incredible story, wow! He probably never even thought once about being recognized for his bravery. After all, he was a CHUMP! Incredible work this man did.
