A novel approach to hold downs

Not FeatherBOARDS but featherBRUSHES.

As a Shopsmith user, I've always used their feather boards because their TS miter slots are of a weird size. But, for the router table, I'm going to make these. If they work as well as I think they will, I may have to build some to fit the TS slots.

Have a gander at this youtube video.

I fixed it for ya, when you clicked on it, it took me to a page of many videos instead of just one.

Pretty slick idea! I just finished watching it, I like the brush method.

Well, thanks John. I tried to do what you did but I couldn't figure out how.

Just the link was jacked up, you probably fat thumbed something, but I found the video anyway. In the future, all you need to do is copy the url of the video directly from your browser, paste it into your post, then hit "Enter" on your keyboard, the video will populate. I know I know Gene, all the little stuff!

Computers are harder to learn than woodworking tools. I used to do what I needed with DOS. Then, everything passed me by while I wasn't watching.
