My first wine rack

Featured Replies

This is my first attempt at making a wine rack.  It holds 20 bottles and is made from 1 piece of air dried live edge walnut.  It sold within a few hours of hanging out in my booth.

This has a reclaimed oak support and mounting  structure be hind it allowing it to stand of the wall by 3" giving clearance for the bottle necks.

Very, very nice, John. Very unique,as well.

Cool Design!

Thanks but the design is all owed to mother nature. I only had the vision to turn it into the wine rack.

Very cool, and a great choice on the wood too :)

John, this is a really cool wine rack, no wonder it sold so quickly, how do you feel about the pricing? Do you think you may have gotten more for it at a higher price? Beautiful!

I like that wood and design. beautiful piece. I don't drink wine and no nothing about storage, but I have always been told that the wine must cover the cork. It appears to do that, Did you do anything to assure the bottle won't slip out? Like I said, when it comes to wine and bottles I don't know  much.

John I actually felt the price may have been too high when I set it but not when I sold it. the man who bought it was seen being asked about it or showing it off to a small group of people on his way out of the show.

Ron the holes are drilled at an angle and the bottles have a ridge around the neck these work together to prevent the m from falling out.

John that is so cool. It takes an artist eye to see beyond the surface. You are a true artist.
