I have a Wixey digital protractor. It does come in handy for many applications.

 

My only complaint about the Wixey products is the short battery life. I've read that turning off their devices only shuts down the display. The internal circuitry stays powered up. LCD displays have a minuscule current drain so using the "power switch" really doesn't save too much of the battery.

Yes that is correct. I have several digital devices that the battery runs down quickly. I remove the battery when I am done and it lasts. However, it is a pain in the butt for me because my hands are large, the batteries are small and I am clumsy.;)

That is pretty nice. I like Lew have the Wixey Protractor. I just keep batteries in the shop so I can change them when needed. You know they never run down till you are in the middle of something important with a deadline!

I hate them things... same with the calipers. Never work

when you need them. I'll stick with to old style ...
