May 22, 201610 yr comment_66492 I have a Wixey digital protractor. It does come in handy for many applications. My only complaint about the Wixey products is the short battery life. I've read that turning off their devices only shuts down the display. The internal circuitry stays powered up. LCD displays have a minuscule current drain so using the "power switch" really doesn't save too much of the battery. Report
May 22, 201610 yr Author comment_66493 Yes that is correct. I have several digital devices that the battery runs down quickly. I remove the battery when I am done and it lasts. However, it is a pain in the butt for me because my hands are large, the batteries are small and I am clumsy. Report
May 27, 201610 yr comment_66560 That is pretty nice. I like Lew have the Wixey Protractor. I just keep batteries in the shop so I can change them when needed. You know they never run down till you are in the middle of something important with a deadline! Report
November 29, 20196 yr comment_210663 I hate them things... same with the calipers. Never work when you need them. I'll stick with to old style ... Report
