Had a horrible thing happen made me sad so I bought a new toy

 

It didn't make the pain go away but it's a nice little toy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got sick and tired of always having to whip out my  big 12" square and I never felt really confident in my Stanley square.

 

 

That is really nice!

 

A buddy of mine picked up one of these (it also had the center finder attachment) at a Goodwill store for a couple of bucks. He didn't like it (too small) and gave it to me. I use it on every project. Absolutely love it.

From the same place I got the square I also ordered that really great Starrett Gooseneck Magnetic base holder.  The opne that sells for almost $300.00   but they had it priced at $35 and change.

 

Well they didn't ship it.   At law they gotta cos they had the proper written  description with Starret's part number but th4ey'd priced it wrong.

 

They played coy with me when I asked about the shipment.  Seriously it took three or so emails for them to admit error.  The customer service rep  tried to tell me that I ordered some product made by a company called Pearle.  She just made it up. 

I told her nope and sent her the shipping invoice they had sent me showing the Starrett part number and description. 

 

Then as if that weren't enough nonsense, they even shipped me some crap  they had valued at about $35 as it somehow I''d just say " Oh Gee I guess this was what I REALLY wanted."

 

The company:  MYTOOLSTORE.COM    I don't recommend them because of the coyness and sleight of hand and playing fast and loose with the law and the UCC. 

 

So  after I demanded they play straight and pay to have their ( whatever it was in the box) shipped back  they sent me a pre paid UPS  label and when they get their ( whatever it was) back  they better reimburse me or I'll have AMEX deny the charge.

 

 

 

Well after the  games and crud they DID reimburse me and they reimbursed me  more than the purchase price of the item I never got.  I paid 35 and change  plus shipping and they reimbursed me $45.   So I got something for shipping on that Item I never wanted.

 

So I have to modify my recommendation to a positive.

 

 

...call it fair compensation for pain and anguish...
