January 28, 201610 yr Snow shoveling is not as much fun as woodturning. The northern end of the Cumberland Valley received around 30" of snow and some pretty stiff winds. So, instead of turning, much of the past week has been devoted to snow/ice removal. Everyone knows I'm a "Jig Junkie". I spend more time making jigs that actual projects. I really like to see what others have developed to assist them in overcoming problems or making an operation just a little easier. Here are some videos of woodturners demonstrating their solutions. This is a 5 part series, with various turners, showing what they have made and why- Time for some more Motrin fo my aches and pains!
